Helfrich returned home from Africa after his successful, yet gruelling climb
up Mt. Kilimanjaro, the world's tallest free-standing mountain, in his bid to
raise awareness of colorectal cancer and funds for the Colorectal Cancer
Association of Canada (CCAC).

About Colorectal Cancer
Colorectal cancer - cancer of the colon or rectum - is the second-leading
cause of Cancer death in Canada.
Though preventable, an estimated 20,800 Canadians will be diagnosed with
the disease this year, and approximately 8,700 are expected to die from it.
