Media Advisory - College of Traditional Chinese Medicine holds its first meeting

    TORONTO, June 25 /CNW/ - Ontario is celebrating the newly appointed
transitional council of the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario.
    Bas Balkissoon, Parliamentary Assistant to David Caplan, Minister of
Health and Long-Term Care and Michael Chan, Minister of Citizenship and
Immigration, are attending the inaugural meeting of the new College.
    The college was established under the Traditional Chinese Medicine Act,
2006, to ensure the safety of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture
services for Ontarians.
