introduces North America's first and the world's highest glass floor paneled
elevator as one of its glass-fronted elevators now offers a thrilling new
perspective on the view 346m (1,136 ft) straight down. Part of the Tower's
ongoing upgrades and efforts to provide visitors with a memorable experience
at this famous iconic attraction, the recently completed elevator car
replacement includes two glass floor panels which combined total 5 1/4ft(2) of
floor space in the elevator. The new elevator will be available to the public
after 11am beginning April 9, 2008.
