    BRITISH COLUMBIA, Oct. 17 /CNW/ - National Science and Technology Week
(NSTW) is a week-long series of exciting events taking place across Canada.
The theme this year is "Planet Earth" and aims to spark interest and curiosity
about our great planet!

    Science World's 4th Annual Community Science Celebration
    October 18, 2008 (10:30 am - 4 pm), House of Birch/Waap Haawk, Northwest
Community College, Terrace

    Science World and BC PALS (the Program for the Awareness and Learning of
Science) bring this annual free family event to Northwest Community College's
Terrace Campus - an interactive day of science for the whole family. For more

    Choose Your Future - Science and Technology Career Panels
    October 21, 2008 (1:30 - 2:30 pm), Wintergarden, University of Northern
BC, Prince George

    Get an inside glimpse into what work life in the science and technology
area looks like by attending the "Choose Your Future" career panels. Each
discussion-style panel features scientists and researchers and highlights what

    Palentology Workshops and Climate Change Talk
