Media advisory - CAW members to be briefed on close-out settlement at GM Oshawa truck plant

    TORONTO/OSHAWA, ON, July 27 /CNW/ - CAW Local 222 members working at
General Motors will be briefed on the contents of the closure settlement for
the Oshawa truck plant at two information meetings on Monday.
    The settlement is a resolution to the grievance filed by the union after
General Motors announced only two weeks after signing the 2008-2011 collective
agreement that it would be closing the truck plant in 2009.

    Information meetings:

    Monday - July 28 at 11 a.m. and 4:15 p.m.

    Oshawa, Ontario
