Media Advisory - CAUT representatives available to speak with Regina media about censure of First Nations University of Canada

    OTTAWA, Jan. 12 /CNW Telbec/ - Canadian Association of University
Teachers (CAUT) Executive Director James Turk and President Penni Stewart are
in Regina tomorrow, Tuesday, and will be available to speak with media about
how censure of First Nations University of Canada (FNUniv) can be lifted.
    In November 2008, CAUT's Council voted to censure FNUniv for its ongoing
failure to resolve the serious problems with the governance of the university.
    Turk and Stewart are in Regina to meet with FNUniv faculty and students,
and will be accompanied on Tuesday by University of Regina Faculty Association
(URFA) Chair Katherine Robinson.
