Media Advisory - Cancer screening program will save lives

    TORONTO, March 13 /CNW/ - George Smitherman, Deputy Premier and Minister
of Health and Long-Term Care, will be announcing the launch of Ontario's
colorectal cancer screening public awareness and education campaign.
    Friday's launch event will highlight digital and visual aspects of this
important, cutting edge multimedia public awareness campaign. It will also
provide important details on the provincewide screening program.
    The event will also see Minister Smitherman take this message directly to
the public at the mall, handing out pamphlets and raising awareness,
officially kicking-off the educational campaign.
