OTTAWA, Oct. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - James Murta, President of the Canadian
Institute of Actuaries, will address the Ontario Expert Commission on Pensions
on Thursday, November 1, 2007 in Ottawa.
Mr. Murta will present the Institute's action plan for strengthening
defined benefit pension plans. He will outline legislative and regulatory
changes needed to restore the health of defined benefit pension plans and
preserve them as a key part of Canada's retirement income system. "Ontario
