The Canadian Centre for Energy Information is a non-profit organization
created in 2002 to meet an urgent need for information on all aspects of the
Canadian energy system from hydroelectric power, crude oil, natural gas, coal,
and geothermal generation through to nuclear, solar, wind and other sources of
energy, as well as energy transmission and distribution systems, and energy
end use. We aim to provide accurate, timely, relevant information about
Canada's energy system in an effort to foster greater awareness and
understanding of Canada's energy system and energy-related issues.
