Media Advisory - Business leaders unveil their creations at "Art from the Unexpected" fundraiser

    TORONTO, June 12 /CNW/ - Twenty original pieces of art created by North
America's most respected marketing and business leaders will be unveiled next
Tuesday night at an unusual fund-raising gala called Art from the Unexpected
    Tasked by Ad Lounge ( to step out of the
boardroom and create an original piece of art, 20 top marketers and business
leaders from Toronto, Vancouver, New York, and Seattle will present their
one-of-a-kind creations at Tuesday night's silent auction to help raise funds
for SKETCH (, a Toronto arts charity for street-involved
and homeless youth.
    Leaders including advertising icon Frank Palmer, chairman and CEO, DDB
Canada; Goodwin Gibson, president, MacLaren MRM, Dave Stevens, general
manager, MySpace Canada; Andrea Stairs, head of marketing, eBay Canada; and
others will be available for interviews to discuss their art, what inspires
them to think creatively, and the power of creativity at a time when
businesses need it the most.
