Media Advisory - Briefing on New Developments in College Students' $200 Million Class Action Lawsuit



    TORONTO, Aug. 31 /CNW/ - There will be a briefing on new developments in
the unprecedented $200 million class action lawsuit against Ontario's
community colleges.
    The representative plaintiffs and their legal counsel, Doug Elliott from
the law firm Roy Elliott Kim O'Connor LLP, will provide the briefing which
will include a review of documents recently acquired through access to
information.
    Representatives of the Canadian Federation of Students will provide an
update on the campaign to stop unfair fees. A video clip related to the
upcoming Ontario election and ancillary fees will be launched on YouTube as
part of the campaign. A preview screening for media will take place during the
briefing.
