Media Advisory - Announcing National Head Lice Awareness Day October 1, 2009

    COOKSTOWN, ON, Sept. 2 /CNW/ - Free screening and education clinics will
be offered to the public by The Lice Squad on October 1, 2009 to recognize
National Head Lice Awareness Day.
    "We want to educate the public and help break the stigma associated with
head lice," explained Dawn Mucci, Founder and Director of The Lice Squad.
"There is still much misunderstanding about how to effectively treat lice. You
can remove lice without pesticides and this is a message all Canadian families
should hear."

    The Lice Squad will also launch a downloadable Lice Help Kit containing a
kids colouring book and informative handouts for parents and educators. The
kit will be available on Lice Squad's newly revamped website coinciding with
Head Lice Awareness Day.
