What: Release of findings from a large-scale survey on the quality
of worklife of members of teaching staff, professional staff
and support staff of Franco-Ontarian schools, represented by
the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants
Paul Taillefer, AEFO President, will present the report's
highlights, explain their significance and how AEFO intends
to address some of its findings.
The survey looks at how school personnel view their working
conditions, their relationships with students and parents,
their value to society and their experiences with harassment
When: Wednesday, March 5, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.
Where: La Nouvelle Scène, 333 King Edward Avenue, Ottawa
Why: To learn first-hand about the perceptions and experiences of
school personnel responsible for educating some
85,000 students in Ontario French-language schools.
AEFO spokesperson and the study's principal researcher will
be on hand for interviews in both French and English.

Conference: The results of this study will be on the agenda of the
upcoming AEFO policy conference to be held from March 8
to 11, 2008, in Ottawa.
