Media advisory - "Achat Québec" Program - Wal-Mart to hold its first green supplier fair in Montreal at the end of August



    MONTREAL, Aug. 22 /CNW/ - The Fédération des chambres de commerce du
Québec and Wal-Mart Canada invite journalists to a briefing on Wednesday,
August 29, at 7:30 a.m., at the Centre Mont-Royal, 2200 Mansfield Street in
Montreal. This is the first time Wal-Mart has organized a Green Supplier Fair.
It has invited its Quebec suppliers who provide organic and fair trade
products to attend the fair.
    At 8 a.m., Mario Pilozzi, president and CEO of Wal-Mart Canada, will
present Wal-Mart's Greener Good program. Following this announcement,
Chantal Glenisson, vice-president, operations, for Wal-Mart Quebec, will
provide an update on the "Achat Québec" program. Alain Lemaire, president of
Cascades, will then speak about his company's involvement in the "Achat
Québec" Program and the Green Supplier Fair.
