Media Advisory - Accident victims' families call for justice and fairness in auto insurance compensation

    TORONTO, Aug. 12 /CNW/ - Families of auto accident victims will gather on
Friday to recall their difficulties in receiving fair compensation for pain
and suffering from auto insurance providers.
    All media and photographers are invited to attend the following press

    The participants will discuss the exorbitant deductibles they are forced
to pay to insurance companies who are making record profits, as well as the
discriminatory definitions of serious injury that has created two classes of
accident victim.
    Representatives from the families include Julia Rushnell, Linda Cowles,
Adrienne Seggie, and Stephen Nelsen. They will be accompanied by Marie Smith,
president of the United Senior Citizens of Ontario, Inc.
    Refreshments and food will be available.
