Media advisory - 35 new canadians to be sworn in

    BARKERVILLE, BC, Aug. 1 /CNW Telbec/ -A citizenship swearing-in ceremony
involving 35 new Canadians will take place at the Theatre Royal in Barkerville
Historic Town on Monday, August 4.
    Presiding over the ceremony will be Citizenship Judge George Gibault.
Among the platform guests will be the Lieutenant-Governor of British Columbia,
the Honourable Steven Point.
    The new Canadians are from 16 countries around the world.
    Photography and audio-visual equipment are permitted.
