Media Advisory - 2008 CWB weather and crop briefing

    TORONTO, June 10 /CNW/ - The Canadian Wheat Board holds its annual grain
industry weather and crop briefing on Thursday, June 12, at 2 p.m. Central
Daylight Time.
    Bruce Burnett, CWB director of weather and crop surveillance, will
discuss conditions across the Prairies and implications for crop production.
Weather and crop conditions in the other important grain-producing regions of
the world will also be discussed. CWB weather analyst Gordon Finlay will also
    Following the briefing and question period for grain-industry officials,
CWB representatives will be available for media questions and interviews.
Out-of-town media can call in via teleconference (media only) or listen to a
live Web cast at Slides of the presentation will be available for
viewing via the live Web cast, which will be archived on the CWB Web site for
90 days.
