Media Advisory - 2007 Polanyi Prize Recipients Honoured

    TORONTO, Nov. 26 /CNW/ - The Honourable David C. Onley, Lieutenant
Governor of Ontario and John Milloy, Minister of Training, Colleges and
Universities will present five outstanding Ontario researchers with the 2007
Polanyi Prize in recognition of their work in the areas of physiology and
medicine, physics, literature and chemistry.
    Prizes were established in 1986 after University of Toronto Professor
John Polanyi won the Nobel Prize in chemistry and are awarded to researchers
planning to continue postdoctoral studies at an Ontario university.

    DATE:        Tuesday, November 27, 2007

    TIME:        11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

    LOCATION:    Massey College, Common Room
                 4 Devonshire Place
                 Toronto, Ontario

    DIRECTIONS:  On the University of Toronto campus at the corner of Hoskins
