the re-launch of its corporate website at www.medavie.bluecross.ca. The new
bilingual site has a fresh, updated look and has been reorganized to make
information easier to find.
The customer-focused site provides more information about Medavie Blue
Cross, its products, services and news. It has many new features including
downloadable forms, brochures and industry information.
"Our goal was to create a website with more user-friendly navigation that
provides the information customers are looking for," said Ruth Rappini,
Vice-President, Organization Development. "We're confident that our customers,
group members and their health service providers will find the new site
informative and useful. This site is an important part of our commitment to
better serve our customers."
The site has been reorganized around type of product - Personal, Group
and Government - as well as company information and careers. A new content
management system, part of a larger technology investment by Medavie Blue
Cross, will facilitate regular updates of the site and enable it to evolve to
meet future customer needs.
The website was originally launched in 1997.
