MEASHA BRUEGGERGOSMAN to Host JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards on Saturday, April 5th

    32 JUNO Award winners to be announced along with unique line-up of
    ensemble performances by more than a dozen JUNO Award nominees

    TORONTO, March 27 /CNW/ - The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and
Sciences (CARAS) announced today that acclaimed soprano and JUNO Award
nominee, Measha Brueggergosman, will host the JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards
happening on the evening of Saturday, April 5th. Nominees, performers, music
luminaries and peers will convene at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre for a
private industry event to celebrate an extraordinary year in Canadian music.
    Thirty-two JUNO Awards will be presented during the non-televised
ticketed event. The JUNO Gala Dinner & Awards will also feature stellar
performances and unique collaborations from more than a dozen of Canada's
brightest music stars and JUNO Award nominees. The Gala Reception sponsored by
FACTOR starts at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Gala Dinner & Awards at 6:00 p.m.
