Math outcomes for 10,000 students studied, report calls for significant improvements

    What:     Report to be released by Seneca College-led research team on
              the mathematics achievement of first semester college students,
              in relation to their secondary school mathematics backgrounds.

    Why:      To recommend key changes to ensure increased student success in
              college mathematics.

    Who:      Project analyzed the school and college achievement records of
              10,000 students, involving six colleges (Centennial, Humber,
              George Brown, Georgian, Seneca, and Sheridan) and ten district
              school boards.
