Marcel Tremblay: CIBPA's "Personality of the Year" for 2007 - Award to be given at the President's Cocktail

    MONTREAL, Dec. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Italian Business and
Professional Association (CIBPA) is proud to name Mr. Marcel Tremblay as
CIBPA's 2007 "personality of the year" at a ceremony to be held on Tuesday
December 04 at 7:00 pm at Complex le Baron 6020, Jean-Talon St. East 2nd Floor
Saint-Léonard, QC.
    A member of the executive committee of the City of Montreal in charge of
citizen services and intercultural relations, Marcel Tremblay distinguished
himself for his support of such projects as "Montreal Diversite" and for his
defense of Montreal's pluralistic society.
    "At a time when so many questions are being raised in Quebec over
reasonable accommodations, CIBPA wishes to draw attention to politicians such
as Marcel Tremblay who understand the socio-political and ethnic nature of our
city", said Rocco Caruso, President of the CIBPA today.

    CIBPA has been issuing its prestigious "personality of the year award"
since 1967 for the purpose of rendering homage to outstanding individuals for
their exceptional dedication and tireless efforts in contributing to the
public's welfare.
