CALGARY, July 7 /CNW/ - CriticalControl Solutions Corp., (TSX-V:CCZ) today announced that its industry leading fluid management application, ProTrend, has been implemented for a major oil and gas producing trust. The implementation has resulted in a total of 22,000 new measurement points being added to the ProTrend, consisting of 15,000 well meters and 7,000 measurement points in facilities. "This client has decided, that after seeing the performance and value of ProTrend in an acquired business, to make our software a corporate standard for all its producing assets," said Alykhan Mamdani, President and CEO of CriticalControl. "This increased demand for ProTrend further validates our industry leading technologies as the choice for oil and gas producers to efficiently control their production data." The completion of this implementation combined with other measurement points from other clients added to ProTrend will result in the number of measurement points on ProTrend at the end of June 2008 to exceed 96,000, up from 67,000 at the end of March 2008. In addition, the Corporation has been successful at converting the bulk of its historic ProTrend customer base to a fee based on active meters, and as such, a number of inactive meters will be deleted from ProTrend resulting in the net number of active meters at the end of June 2008 to be 82,000. As with CriticalControl's other products for oil and gas producers, production data from ProTrend will be integrated into CriticalControl's ProStream database. About ProStream: ProStream is a current development initiative by CriticalControl to consolidate the various forms of data associated with gas production and to reduce the significant time burden related to managing redundant and conflicting production data.
