MONTREAL, Sept. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - Mr. André Chagnon, Chairman and CEO of
the Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation, is pleased to announce the appointment
of Ms. Lyse Brunet as General Manager of Québec Enfants, which works in the
field of early childhood.
Ms. Brunet has held management positions with Centraide of Greater
Montreal since 1997. She served as that organization's Vice-President - Social
Development for eight years. She has an extensive background in community
action, philanthropy and multi-sectorial partnerships.
Prior to that, after devoting years to research and teaching, Lyse Brunet
had worked in the field, heading a Quebec association and a community
organization. She later served as Assistant - Inter-municipal Affairs in the
office of the Mayor of Montreal.

The Lucie and André Chagnon Foundation will dedicate to Québec Enfants
the sum of $250 million over 10 years.
