Mechtronix Technology for Use in Educating Lufthansa's Future Pilots in
the Key Stages of Initial Training
MONTREAL, June 2 /CNW Telbec/ - Lufthansa Flight Training (LFT) today
announced the major purchase of five Cessna CJ1 Flight Training Devices from
Mechtronix, the fastest growing and third leading manufacturer of flight
training equipment in the world. These new devices will be used at LFT's Pilot
School in Bremen exclusively to train their student pilots in the important
stages of initial flight training and in conjunction with LFT's new syllabus.
The first two units will be ready for training at the beginning of 2009.
The new Cessna CJ1+ FTD's designed and manufactured by Mechtronix from
Montreal, will provide enhanced fidelity with a new wide view spherical
projection system 200 degrees x 60 degrees FOV and the high fidelity standard
RSI Image Generator. LFT will look to obtain FNPT II MCC under JAR STD 3A
certification. LFT again decided to select Mechtronix technology based on a
number of key factors that met the company's strict conditions for training.
