LOREX announces Special Meeting

    TORONTO, May 26 /CNW/ -  LOREX Technology Inc. ("LOREX" or the "Company)
(TSX: LOX) announces the Company was notified on April 28, 2009 of a request
to hold a Special Meeting of Shareholders pursuant to Section 105 of the
Business Corporations Act (Ontario). The requisition was made by registered
shareholders of LOREX, Reuben Klein Holdings Inc. and Eli Klein Holdings Inc.,
companies controlled by Reuben Klein and Eli Klein, respectively, which
collectively own approximately 18% of the issued and outstanding common shares
of LOREX. On May 22, 2009 these registered shareholders called a Special
Meeting of the Shareholders of LOREX to be held on July 15, 2009 and fixed
June 15, 2009 as the record date for this meeting. The notice of the
requisition of the Special Meeting provides that the business to be transacted
at the meeting will be the election of directors.
