LiquidxStream demonstrates award-winning Universal Edge QAM at SCTE Expo

The LxS-3216 is judged by industry experts to be one of the very best new
    cable technologies available.

PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 24 /CNW Telbec/ - LiquidxStream Systems, Inc.
announced that the LxS-3216 Universal Edge QAM was awarded 4.0 diamonds by
technology leaders in Broadband Gear Report's (BGR) 2008 Diamond Technology
BGR's annual Diamond Technology Reviews provides an objective analysis by
senior technology executives in the cable industry of unique, new broadband
products each year. "The Diamond Technology Reviews panel was particularly
impressed with the LiquidxStream Systems LxS-3216's density, flexibility and
switching agility. One judge called it 'a great leap forward in edge QAM
technology,'" Laura Hamilton, editor-in-chief at Broadband Gear Report, says.
The LxS-3216 received its high praise because it offers the highest QAM
density available today - 512 QAMs per unit and 32 QAM channels per RF port.
It protects all of these channels with carrier class redundancy at a fraction
of the cost of legacy solutions. Adding QAMs requires no customer service
interruptions and no network overhaul. Also, the 32 QAMs on each RF port can
be placed anywhere in the digital band with no need for contiguous blocks.
"The density, reliability, and flexibility of the LxS-3216 create a whole
new category for Universal Edge QAMs," states Francois Laflamme, President and
CEO for LiquidxStream. "The BGR Diamond Reviews process serves as an unbiased
means to confirm the uniqueness and value of the technology breakthroughs
embodied in our EdgeQAM."
