TORONTO, Jan. 7 /CNW/ - Chetan Mathur, Chief Executive Officer of Brendan
Moore & Associates Ltd. (BMA) is pleased to announce several strategic
appointments that will strengthen the sales and operations of BMA.
On December 8, 2008, Lucio Di Clemente joined the firm as President and
Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Lucio is responsible for BMA's
operations and governance with a focus on streamlining business processes and
activities. Lucio is an experienced corporate executive, having fulfilled
leadership roles for Mattamy Homes, Brewers Retail, MDS Laboratories, Second
Cup Coffee and Thrifty Car Rental. Lucio holds a BBM degree from Ryerson
University, a MBA degree from the University of Toronto a CA designation from
the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and an ICD.D accreditation
from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
Further, Chetan has assembled an impressive group that will form the
Advisory Council of BMA. The Council will provide stewardship and make a
meaningful contribution to the overall growth of the firm. In addition to
Chetan Mathur, the following individuals will constitute the Council: Clara
Angotti, Jordan Banks, Mark Cohon, Tony Gagliano and Gary Nobrega. Clara
Angotti is the President of Next Pathway; she is an experienced sales and
marketing consultant and a prior finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur
of the Year Award.
Jordan Banks is the former CEO of JumpTV and previously served as the
managing director of eBay Canada. Jordan is a member of the Board of Directors
for Fluid Music, PeerSet, the Baycrest Centre, the Baycrest Foundation, and
the Moses and Temara Tobe Foundation.
Mark Cohon is the Commissioner of the CFL and a well-respected executive,
entrepreneur and community leader. Mark is the Chair of the Board of Trustees
of the Ontario Science Centre and also sits on the board of Katimavik,
Canada's national youth service organization.
Tony Gagliano is the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of
St. Joseph Communications. He is a member of the St. Michael's Hospital Board,
a cabinet member of Ryerson University in Toronto, and a Board Member and Vice
President of the Art Gallery of Ontario. Tony is also the Co-Founder and
Co-Chair of Luminato.
Gary Nobrega is the VP, Finance & Operations with GestureTek. A chartered
accountant, he began his career with Price Waterhouse in 1983, subsequently
moving into the business side with Clarkson Gordon, then in 1987 to Metro
Financial Group as Vice President of Operations. Chetan Mathur stated, "These
