Lavo provides Richelieu river flood victims with 7200 bottles of bleach to disinfect homes

MONTREAL, June 13, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - While clean-up efforts are being organized in the Richelieu valley, Lavo is helping flood victims by offering them bottles of bleach, a product specifically designed to disinfect. This donation of 7200 bottles represents a retail value of over $20,000.

Disinfection is a key element in restoring flooded homes. All inside surfaces, cavities and structures that have come in contact with floodwaters must be disinfected in order to prevent mould. Lavo Pro 6 bleach, which will be given to SOS Richelieu for distribution to flood victims, contains a high concentration of active ingredients, and is certified by Health Canada (DIN) as a surface disinfectant.
