LASALLE, QC, May 31, 2011 /CNW Telbec/ - 6:20 p.m. - The borough of LaSalle hereby wishes to inform its population that it's no longer necessary to boil tap water before consuming it.

A boil water advisory was issued Thursday, May 26 for part of the LaSalle territory. However, according to the Service de l'eau de la Ville de Montréal, in responsible for the production and quality of drinking water, the analyses conducted in the past few hours show the situation is normal on the entire water distribution network. The boil water advisory is therefore lifted. All LaSalle residents may now drink tap water or use it for cooking, without boiling it first.

The borough of LaSalle wishes to thank its residents for their excellent cooperation.
