MONTREAL, Nov. 14 /CNW Telbec/ - Outdoor activity fans and winter
enthusiasts are all invited to meet Boule de Neige at the Santa Claus Parade.
The most popular polar bear in town looks forward to seeing you on
November 17, starting at 11:00 a.m., along Sainte-Catherine Street between du
Fort and Saint-Urbain. Again this year, the Fête des Neiges de Montréal team
is proud to be taking part in the Santa Claus Parade, featuring one of Boule
de Neige's best friends!
The public will enjoy a foretaste of the contagious energy of the 2008
Fête des Neiges, with dancers from the Boulathèque, the Hyperboréens, the
Super souffleurs, and inhabitants of the Bourgade nordique with their cheerful
penguins. Great fun for small and big people alike before the opening of the
city's largest outdoor winter playground!
Be sure to join in the action-packed Fête des Neiges de Montréal weekends
from January 26 to February 10, 2008, at Parc Jean-Drapeau. Special price
packages are also available for elementary school students and daycare
children from January 24 to February 8, 2008 inclusive.
La fête des Neiges de Montréal, presented by Hydro-Québec, is produced by
the Société du parc Jean-Drapeau in partnership with the City of Montréal. For
general information, call 514 872-6120, or log on to the website at
www.fetedesneiges.com, which also features a photo album of the event.
