Kiefer, Avril, Toronto FC and More! Celebrity-Designed T-Shirt Auction Supports National Child Day 2007 And Children's Miracle Network

Online Charity Auction Showcases One-of-a-Kind Creations

TORONTO, Oct. 25 /CNW/ - 'A-list' celebrities, musicians, athletes and
politicians in Canada and across the border have designed one-of-a-kind
t-shirts to be auctioned off for Holt Renfrew Centre's campaign in support of
children's human rights and National Child Day 2007. These unique creations
feature the creative flair and personal touch of Kiefer Sutherland, Avril
Lavigne, Mayor David Miller, Toronto FC and others, to help raise funds
benefiting Children's Miracle Network.
Each year on November 20, countries around the world celebrate National
Child Day as a shared commitment to the adoption of two United Nations
landmark documents aimed at protecting and ensuring human rights for all
children and youths. For some of the participating celebrities in the auction,
this cause resonated loudly, and the t-shirts were designed with the theme of
"A Better Future For Tomorrow's Children Today" in mind.
"We are honoured to have such a remarkable roster of high-profile
individuals to help us support children's rights, and raise some much-needed
funds that can truly make a difference. By partnering with Children's Miracle
Network, this online auction provides everyone the opportunity to help save
and improve children's lives day in and day out," said Angela Craig, Assistant
Marketing Manager, Holt Renfrew Centre.

benefit Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization benefiting 170
hospitals throughout North America, helping over 17 million children each
year. In Canada, there are 14 children's hospitals that provide the very best
care, leading edge research and education programs to help over 2.5 million
children get the care they need. For more information, visit
