Kia Canada Dealers Pick up and Drive Away the all new 2010 Soul

MISSISSAUGA, ON, Feb. 27 /CNW/ - Kia Canada Inc., a maker of quality
vehicles for the young at heart, today invited its central Ontario dealers to
its headquarters to receive and drive away the first of many new 2010 Soul
vehicles. After receiving a short presentation outlining marketing and product
information, keys to 31 eagerly awaited Souls were presented to each dealer
for an enthusiastic drive to their respective dealerships.
"Because of the overwhelming response to the new Soul, our dealers are
very excited to get the new Soul on their showroom floors," said Maria Soklis,
Senior Director of Operations. "Today's drive away was a fun way of engaging
our dealers in our Soul launch, and further builds their enthusiasm for a
vehicle that is certain to elevate our portfolio and brand perception."
Kia Canada's dealers are confident that the new Soul's innovative design,
coupled with competitive pricing and nicely equipped packaging will draw new
customers into dealer showrooms. The Soul's all-new design has generated much
interest from the press and public since its first appearance as a concept in
2006 and now as a production vehicle. The production vehicle's shape and
design differ little from the original concept, and has been called one of the
freshest automotive designs of the last ten years by the automotive press.
With a base price of $15,495, the stylish new Soul comes well equipped
with many standard features. The base Soul comes with a 1.6 litre four
cylinder engine producing 122 horsepower, with fuel economy rating of 6.3
litres/100km Highway and 7.7 litres/100 km City with its manual transmission,
six airbags, power locks, windows and mirrors, heated seats and more. A short
"grade walk" up to the Soul 2.0 2u brings upgrades including a 2.0 litre four
cylinder generating 142 horsepower, and a fuel economy of 6.5 litres/100km
Highway and 8.6 litres/100km City with a manual transmission. Standard
features on the Soul 2.0 2u include 16 inch alloy wheels, four wheel disc
brakes with Anti-lock brakes (ABS) and Electronic Stability Control (ESC),
roof rails, cruise control, air conditioning and much more for $17,995. Full
