John Tory skipped his televised local debate, will he show up today?

TORONTO, Sept. 30 /CNW/ - After confirming his attendance for a televised
local debate this past Thursday, John Tory was a no show. He took the
afternoon and evening off and skipped out on the Goldhawk Live debate. Will he
show up today for a scheduled local debate?
"Even John Tory is afraid to debate his scheme to rip $500 million out of
publicly funded schools for private religious schools," said Deputy Premier
George Smitherman. "I wouldn't be surprised if he skips out on this debate
just like he did Thursday night."
Smitherman pointed to Tory's weak schedule with two afternoon and
evenings completely cleared this past Wednesday and Thursday - yet Tory still
failed to show up for his scheduled television appearance.
"More than a dozen Conservative candidates are now questioning
John Tory's weak leadership and it looks like Tory himself is having
difficulty defending his private religious school scheme. Today the people of
Don Valley West will have their say, and we'll see if John Tory shows up to
hear it."
