(TSX Venture: IVI) is pleased to announce that it has been engaged by First Contact, a specialist in outbound calling programs and contact management services for political candidates, to develop software and provide hosting. Over the next year, the contract value is for a base $160,000 plus variable hosting fees. This will allow Ivrnet's new customer to enhance its voter communications portal, automated call center technology, and voter contact systems. It will also afford greater downstream opportunities for them and Ivrnet to deploy such technology into the broader commercial arena, for use by corporations, governing bodies and communities. Typical applications include those interested in accessing to new tools in order to better communicate with, survey and obtain feedback, from their constituents and customers. David Snell, Ivrnet's President and CEO stated, "We are very pleased to be helping First Contact move their already successful business into commercial markets. Current economic conditions demand more efficient business processes for both profit and nonprofit organizations, which Ivrnet and First Contact are well positioned to provide." The project will include a two to four month development phase to deploy new technologies, and a longer term operational agreement to host and operate web and telephone integrated contact tools for the commercial market.
