It's Okay To Be The Boss

TORONTO, March 7 /CNW/ - World Class business adviser and author, Bruce
Tulgan is coming to Toronto just days after the release of his new book, It's
Okay To Be The Boss by Harper Collins.
Tulgan will be working with the Ontario Association of Community Care
Access Centres (OACCAC) to produce a two day conference that is designed
around the eight techniques outlined in his book on March 19 and 20 at the
Toronto Marriott Downtown Eaton Centre.
"As Community Care Access Centres and the Health Care Sector of Ontario
in general continue to undergo tremendous change, we felt that the time was
right to offer a comprehensive event to assist managers to better manage their
employees," said Dr Sheila Jaggard, Interim Vice President, Member Services
and Chief Operating Officer for the OACCAC. "Tulgan's approach puts the
employee back at the centre of the management process by showing managers how
to truly empower workers through guidance, direction and support."
Tulgan is also the acclaimed author of the classic, Managing Generation X
and Winning the Talent Wars. Getting started on becoming a better manager
according to Tulgan, involves a set of techniques that include getting into
the habit of managing every day, learning to talk like a performance coach and
making accountability real.
