INVITATION TO THE PRESS - 103rd Annual Conference of the Canadian Association of chiefs of police - Invitation to the media

    MONTREAL, Aug. 25 /CNW Telbec/ - The 103rd Annual Conference of the
Association of chiefs of police (CACP) opened in Montreal on August 24th. The
conference theme is "Better diversity management through partnership". The
CACP has close to 360 active members representing more than 90 % of the police
community making municipal, native, regional, provincial and federal police
    At the Association annual meeting, media members are invited to meet with
police authorities from all over Canada and to visit the Trade Show.
    "The Trade Show is a must, and Steven Chabot, President of the
Association and Deputy General Director for Criminal Investigations at the
Sûreté du Québec, stresses the fact that it is a high point of this
Conference. More than a hundred representatives will be available to
thoroughly explain the services they offer and present their latest

    Moreover, a press conference will close the event, Wednesday,
August 27th, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., Room Hochelaga 5, of the Fairmont Queen
Elizabeth Hotel.
