Intrawest Announces Early Season Travel Packages at Several of the World's Premier Winter Resort Destinations

    VANCOUVER, Oct. 10 /CNW/ - The temperature is dropping and so is the
opportunity to save when booking your winter vacation. Intrawest has unveiled
details about incredible early season vacation package deals at several of
their world class winter resorts. By planning early, snow enthusiasts can save
dramatically on their 2008-2009 winter season travel to Colorado's Copper

    Getting to Steamboat Springs - Ski Town U.S.A. (R) is now easier than
ever with increased flight capacity at the Steamboat/Hayden Airport including
nonstop flights from nine major airports on American, Continental, Delta,
Northwest, United and just announced Frontier. The easy access, Champagne
Powder (TM) snow and Early Rewards make Steamboat an obvious choice for winter
vacation. The Early Rewards package features a minimum four nights lodging and
a three-day lift ticket for as low as $302 if purchased by November 3, 2008 -
an amazing 20% savings. All Early Rewards packages must be booked by deadline
and paid in full at the time of booking through Steamboat's Central

    Vermont's Stratton Mountain is offering the perfect way to experience the

"case of the Mondays" and make it a long weekend at Stratton. By purchasing
three nights of weekend accommodations, the skiing and riding are FREE on
Monday! This deal is available in hotels and condominiums and starts at $55
early season, and $85 regular season, per person per night. A three night stay
is required to take advantage of this package.

    Mountain Creek

    For snow addicts in the NYC area, Mountain Creek is offering a trio of
unbelievable deals. The All Access Pass, at $265, is good all the time, any
time with no restrictions and also covers early lift access on the weekends.
The 5x7 PLUS pass, at $199, is good midweek for both day and night skiing plus
$25 weekend tickets. When the snow comes down and accumulates 2 inches or more
the prices of these passes will increase so be sure to act fast. Finally the
Triple Play Package gives guests three, non-consecutive lift tickets that are
good anytime with no restrictions. The Triple Play is available for $69 now
through November 30th and then $75 from December 1st through December 24th.


    At Quebec's Tremblant, it's all about easy access with daily flights
being offered from both Toronto City Center Airport and NYC's Newark
International Airport. After the success of the first year of direct flights
from Newark to Tremblant, Continental Airlines will again service
Mont-Tremblant International Airport daily this winter. Featuring competitive
rates, resort guests flying into Mont-Tremblant can also cut nearly two hours
of driving time from their trip and can enjoy the Mountain for some skiing in
the afternoon on the day they arrive.
