Insuring customers on their terms; New Allstate insurance agencies open for business in Windsor

WINDSOR, ON, Feb. 4 /CNW/ - Today, Chris Kiah, President and CEO, and
Christianne Dostie, Executive Vice President, Allstate Canada, were on hand to
celebrate the official grand opening of the Allstate Insurance Agency at two
Windsor locations. The Allstate officials will be travelling to London
tomorrow to attend two more Grand Openings in that city.
In 2007, Allstate announced that it was going to enhance its agent
distribution model in order to better respond to customer expectations and to
the demands of a changing marketplace and introduced the new Allstate
Insurance Agency.
"With each new agency opening, we step closer to assuming a position of
strength in the marketplace, one where we will outpace our competition by
delighting our customers in meeting their needs and beating their
expectations. Quite simply, this is the right business model at the right
time," Kiah said.
The new Allstate Insurance Agency creates a consistent delivery model by
providing consumers with access to a team of experienced and knowledgeable
Allstate agents who will each be accountable for managing specific aspects of
a customer's needs. In each Agency there will be:

    - An Allstate Agent who will create and develop the relationship at new
    - An Allstate Agent who will expand the relationship by identifying
        additional features to meet changing and evolving insurance needs;
    - An Allstate Agent who will strengthen the relationship at renewal and
        provide customer service and support.

"We see our customers as invited guests to a party, and we are the hosts.
It's our job - every day - to make every single, important aspect of the
customer experience a little bit better," said Jim Lavin, Agency Manager of
the Windsor LaSalle location.
At the end of 2008, there were 32 new Allstate Insurance Agencies open
for business in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Alberta, and 48 in
Ontario alone. Upon completion there will be 93 new Agencies across Canada
with Ontario leading the way with 54.
"The Allstate Insurance Agency is more than just a new business model. It
is a unique and fresh approach to providing consumers with the insurance
products they need - and on their terms," Dostie said.
