TORONTO, Aug. 8 /CNW/ - The first annual "CraveFest" International Music
Video Awards Festival invades Toronto this Tuesday, August 14 to
Friday, August 17, 2007 at Revival Bar (783 College Street) and The Mod Club
(722 College Street). Experience the rush of sight and sound as CraveFest's
top voted videos and artists are showcased in a loud, visually astounding
atmosphere with Canadian rock band illScarlett headlining the final awards
night at The Mod Club.
The festival kicks off on Tuesday, August 14, doors at 7:30pm, at
Revival Bar, as "CraveFest" presents, 'Hustle N Flow', an evening dedicated to
urban video and sound. The top voted Hip-Hop and R&B videos are showcased,
featuring music by Classified, Frank N Dank, Belly, Infinite and many others.
The evening will also include live performances by: Solitair, Point Blank,
SanGia and Mr. Flowers.
"CraveFest" presents the 'Coliseum of Rock' on Wednesday, August 15,
doors at 7:30pm, at Revival Bar. The evening is dedicated to showcasing
finalist Rock, Punk and Metal videos in an intensely LOUD, mind-blowing event.
Amongst the featured finalists are videos by: Alexisonfire, Silverstein, Thom
Yorke and more. The 'Coliseum of Rock' will also introduce live performances
by: Socialight, Mavis Drive, Dame, ANTI-HERO and littleSUNDAY.
Thursday, August 16 at Revival Bar, doors at 7:30pm, "CraveFest"
presents, 'Heavy On The Breaks', a mind numbing, pulse-pounding event,
focusing on the top voted Dance and Electronic videos. The Chemical Brothers,
Armand Van Helden and The Pinker Tones are amongst the finalists in this
category. The evening will also feature live DJ performances by some of
Toronto's top talents.
The 2007 "CraveFest" Awards Night will be held on Friday, August 17,
doors at 7pm at The Mod Club. Hosted by musical talent, Tara Slone, the
evening will be filled with live acts, guest appearances and surprises.
Headlining the live performances is Canadian rock band illScarlett. Roz Bell,
Solitair, The Scenario, Tricky Bizzniss and HandHeld complete the performance
bill. "CraveFest" honorary judges Alan Cross, Darrin Pfeiffer, Tara Slone,
Ulysses Terrero and Tanya Dennis will also be onset to hand out Awards and
