WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 4 /CNW/ - Mr. Robert Nealon reports:

IGEN with its exclusive distribution agreement with MachLink Inc. has deposited $50,000.00 and is preparing to include the Drayton Valley area with an underserved rural population of 25,000 households plus businesses and oil and gas field monitoring. IGEN is purchasing the necessary equipment and has identified an established tower in place to meet the rural customer needs. This licensed broadband spectrum establishes a foothold that will allow IGEN to build through this corridor a series of broadband locations, each site with a 55 kilometer or 30 mile radius that will service a much larger population and business base. The Company's distribution approach is to use bonded independent contractors to install and commission systems at the customer premises. This broadband spectrum license will place IGEN into a solid cash flow position that will enable all future growth and allow the company to expand on the identified 15 other spectrums that are currently available to the Company.

Mr. Nealon quotes "IGEN is working with MachLink to consolidate as one company all the Engineering and Patents held by MackLink to better express the underlying market with all assets held in IGEN once negotiations have been satisfied. This approach will enhance the bottom line of both companies and allow the unified group to better secure the necessary financing on a go forward basis. The market for IGEN/MachLink's services is clearly demonstrated and with the market expertise that IGEN has assembled and MachLinks engineering and corporate holdings would place the unified company as a completed force that both companies bring to the table allowing for a seamless transition into the known marketplace. There is a pent-up demand for internet services, especially in rural and remote areas where there is no real alternative to the Company's offerings. The Company's other service portfolio elements; telephony and video on demand are also clearly in demand. The Company's telephone product will be very attractively priced compared to the alternative services, including a long distance package that offers attractive calling options at a fraction of the price for similar services." IGEN/ MachLink is a full duplex broadband system that utilizes what most others don't - the unused television frequencies which transmit MachLink`s engineered premier wireless services. It outperforms Wi-Max and Satellite delivering full duplex voice (versus Wi-MAX's half duplex), a 55km signal or 30 mile range from source (5 times more than Wi-MAX), and data speeds over 20MB (more than 3 times that of Wi-MAX and over 20 times faster than satellite). Each IGEN/MachLink system can support thousands of customers. The company recognizes an opportunity to take part in the world's fastest growing communications market with an innovative technical approach to bring communications services to rural America's and conquer the digital divide globally.
