iGATE Wins Healthy Workplace Gold Level Award

Recognized by Arogya World as part of the Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action

BANGALORE, India, Dec. 11, 2013 /CNW/ - iGATE Corporation ("iGATE" or "the Company") (NASDAQ: IGTE) - the iTOPS-based outcomes-driven IT solutions provider has been conferred with the Gold Level Award in the Healthy Workplace 2013 survey. Arogya World - the global health non-profit organization, conducted the first edition of this survey in India as part of the Clinton Global Initiative Commitment to Action leveraging workplaces as platforms for wellness advancement and chronic disease prevention.

The Healthy Workplace criteria were organized into three levels - Bronze, Silver and Gold - and included work-life balance and shifting mind-set metrics, in addition to a workplace no-tobacco-use policy, as well as ready access to healthy foods and opportunities for physical activity. iGATE was assessed by a three-person team that scored the company's activities including site visits.
