IDC and Medstrat Partner to Provide Complete Orthopedic Solutions

Medstrat Successfully Completes 11 IDC DR Installations in Past Year

CALGARY, April 10 /CNW/ - Imaging Dynamics Company Ltd. ("IDC")
(TSX: IDL), today announced the successful installation of an Xplorer 1600
digital radiography (DR) system at Kansas City Bone & Joint (Kansas City, MO)
as part of a comprehensive digital imaging solution provided by Medstrat
(Downers Grove, IL), an IDC strategic solutions PACS partner.
Debbie Rumple, Radiology Supervisor at the Kansas City Bone & Joint
facility, states, "Our facility has realized a tremendous increase in daily
throughput, we are easily able to see twice as many patients. Patients have
even commented on how much they appreciate not having to lay down for exams,
which can be especially difficult and painful with suspected fractures. The
technologists, who had never used DR before, absolutely love how easy it is to
use the system and software. Excellent training was provided and we would
highly recommend this system."
"Medstrat understands the orthopedic market and the need to implement
technology that increases productivity and workflow. Doctors want the ability
to access their images anywhere and any time, it's not realistic to expect
them to go to their radiology room to view images," said Mike Cowden,
President & CEO of Medstrat. "Promoting IDC just makes sense. They
consistently provide the speed, performance and price that busy orthopedic
practices of all sizes demand to meet today's high patient volumes and
healthcare needs. The highly automated IDC digital x-ray system provides
improved image quality, streamlined workflow and decreased patient waiting
time. The Medstrat PACS system allows images to be transferred electronically
anywhere in the world in DICOM or JPEG format; even to a cell phone."
"Medstrat has been very successful in providing their clients the IDC DR
solution and transitioning their orthopedic practice to digital with over 11
successful installations in the past 12 months," stated Rick Sbordone, Senior
Vice President of IDC. "We are enthusiastic that this partnership with the
Medstrat organization will continue to make in-roads in the orthopedic
industry and continue expansion in this specialty market."
