MONTREAL, Jan. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - Hydro-Québec is proud to present, from
February 21 to March 2, the MONTREAL HIGH LIGHTS Festival, a popular cultural
event celebrating winter that will take place in Old Montreal and on the Quays
of the Old Port.
This year, 200,000 revellers are expected to attend. They are cordially
invited to the now famous Montreal All-Nighter, set for the night of Saturday,
March 1 and Sunday, March 2. No less than 123 activities packed into one
night, most of them free, are included in the program: museum visits, poetry,
film, music, song, skating, artists' workshops, art galleries, even winter
swimming-to mention just a few! Last year, the Montreal All-Nighter attracted
nearly 175,000 visitors, rivaling all- night events held in Paris, Riga, Rome
and Brussels! Hydro-Québec will also offer tours in the lobby of its head
office, where visitors can admire the luminous mural by Jean-Paul Mousseau.
Hydro-Québec invites the public to come and experience this unique event,
a celebration of city living that gives new meaning to our winters-shining
bright throughout the Festival!
