of the top ten Canadian companies in Corporate Knights Magazine's annual
Leadership Diversity Index. This year, Hydro One tied for sixth place, out of
150 major companies analyzed for the index. This is the second year the
Company was named to the top ten list.
"Our repeat ranking on this list is consistent with our belief that our
employees should not only be the best and the brightest people available, but
they should also be a reflection of the communities and customers we serve,"

Hydro One's role within the province's electricity system demands a
diverse workforce with a wide variety of education, skills, talent and
training. The Company has put in place a five-year plan to further increase
the diversity of its workplace and to attract new employees to jobs in the

universities to recruit young men and women to the skilled trades and other

at companies with the greatest visible minority and female representation in
both the boardroom and the executive offices. In addition, this year's survey
investigated other dimensions of diversity, including the workplace challenges
of recent immigrants, aboriginals, and disabled persons.
