BARRIE, ON, March 14 /CNW/ - HydraLogic Systems Inc. (TSX.V:HLS) announced today that it has signed a key distribution agreement with one of Mexico's largest pest control product manufacturing and distribution companies - Quimix S.A. de C.V. of Mexico City. Quimix is also a part of the Velsimex Group, an industry leader in crop protection products. Distribution rights to HydraLogic's Bug DeFence(TM) products have been assigned to Quimix for sales in Mexico with the company's first order having recently been shipped. The national distribution coverage of Quimix will also aid in the introduction of Bug DeFence(TM) products to country clubs, restaurants, agriculture and personal residences shortly thereafter. "At $141 Billion dollars (US) per year, Mexico is placed 10th in the world ranking of tourism," noted Michael Beckley, President and CEO of HydraLogic Systems Inc. "Our Bug DeFence(TM) products represent a new era in pest management at resort and hotel properties and an untapped opportunity for our companies in Mexico. We are very happy to have created an alliance with one of the largest distribution groups in Mexico and look forward to working with Quimix to realize the full market potential of our products in their country." About Bug Defence: Bug DeFence(TM) patent pending outdoor mosquito control products represent a real breakthrough in insect deterrence. Unlike competing strategies that control fly and mosquito populations through the use of hand held fogging of insecticides or the use of questionable CO2 bait-and-kill systems - Bug DeFence(TM) uses airborne misting systems and all-natural spray formulations to create and defend a definable perimeter against flying biting insects. Bug DeFence(TM) repellents are safe and ideal for residential, recreational, and commercial applications around buildings, doorways, fences, hedges, golf greens, patios, decks, gazebos, docks, and pools.
