today that legendary musician and storyteller James Taylor will lend his
support for literacy through the Canwest Raise-a-Reader Concert Series.
Partial proceeds from ticket sales to his upcoming "James Taylor and his Band
of Legends Tour", on sale beginning today, will go to Canwest Raise-a-Reader
to benefit local literacy groups in Canadian communities.
Taylor's tour is in support of his latest album, One Man Band, and
includes 32 dates and the first Canadian tour stops in over five years.
Current Canadian cities include: Halifax, Montreal, Toronto, Saskatoon,
Edmonton, Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. Taylor who is a multi-Grammy
Award-winning, platinum-selling member of both the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame
and the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, will tour with a band of musical all-stars.
