Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment in Toronto

    TORONTO, Aug. 20 /CNW/ - The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network convened its
second international Hip-Hop Summit on Financial Empowerment at Toronto's
Hummingbird Centre for the Performing Arts today. The "Get Your Money Right"
International Tour, now in its third successful year, brings together the
powerful combination of hip-hop stars and Chrysler Financial experts to speak
to students and community members about the importance of financial literacy.
Gabrielle Union, Canada's own Belly and Keisha Chante, Letoya Luckett, Monie
Love, HSAN CEO/President Dr. Benjamin Chavis and Chrysler Financial Canada
President and CEO Gino Cozza discussed topics including the basics of banking,
home ownership, repairing bad credit and understanding credit scores,
entrepreneurship and vehicle financing.
