CALGARY, Aug. 7 /CNW/ - Heritage Oil Corporation (TSX: HOC) today
announced that its operations at Block 3A, Uganda are to resume imminently.

the timing of the drilling of the Kingfisher-2 well, which is anticipated to

oil in the Lake Albert region. The oil companies and the Government are
working together to fast-track development of the oil industry through a

"We consider the unfortunate security incident on Lake Albert on August 3
an isolated event, and shall provide whatever assistance we can to guarantee
the safety of the oil companies and our personnel, to ensure no delays occur
to the work programs."

programs in Blocks 3A and 1 in Uganda.
