HEC Montréal MBA Makes the Forbes Top 10 - Only Canadian school in the top one-year program ranking

MONTREAL, Aug. 6 /CNW Telbec/ - For the fourth straight time, the HEC
Montréal Intensive MBA has ranked as one of the top non-US MBAs in the
prestigious Forbes biennial listing of business schools. The survey ranks
schools based on return on investment - meaning compensation five years after
graduation minus tuition and the forgone salary during school.
"We are especially proud that our MBA has once again been ranked among
the best programs outside the United States," says Program Director Jacques
Roy. "Employers continue to put their faith in the new crop of managers
trained by our School, because we are constantly seeking ways of innovating
and adapting our teaching methods and content to the changing needs of the
business world."
This year, some 17,000 2004 alumni from 103 institutions around the world
completed the Forbes questionnaire for this survey. With one of the top non-US
MBA programs, HEC Montréal joins a select group of international schools:

    1. Insead - France
    2. IMD - Switzerland
    3. Instituto de Empresa - Spain
    4. Cambridge (Judge) - United Kingdom
    5. Oxford (Said) - United Kingdom
    6. City University (Cass) - United Kingdom
    7. Lancaster - United Kingdom
    8. SDA Bocconi - Italy
    9. Cranfield - United Kingdom
    10. HEC Montréal - Canada

The details of the Forbes ranking are published on-line on the magazine's
